Through utilising the high-pressure fog in conjunction with an axial-flow fan, cooling is achieved by induced evaporation of high-pressure fog, without any wetting or residual moisture. When the tiny moisture droplets come into contact with the dry, hot air they evaporate, causing a drop in the air temperature. The OutdoorCooling FogFans can decrease temperatures by up to 10 °C on the hottest of days. Deters flying insects like flies and mosquitoes. All this is achieved with running costs less than 1/3 that of conventional air conditioning.
